The River Story’s primary focus in all dealings is the practice of Consensus Decision Making. Through the process of Consensus Decision Making the element of respect engenders responsibility, which leads to accountability, thus ensuring people reflect on issues and all members of the community are heard and agree on all decisions. This reflective response increases the likelihood of reciprocity in all human relationships, including consensus agreements.
The Consensus Action Agreements that we intend to use in all of our dealings consists of two main factors: firstly that all decisions are discussed and all members are heard and that the action that comes from the discussion is one that has the total support from all members. Secondly all discussions and actions that are had/made are adhering to the Evolutionary Guidelines which will ensure proper intentions are intact and test actions.
